Chaz Bowers is Dean of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Guild of Organists as well as Director of Music and Principal Organist at Saint Bernard Parish R. C. Church and Adjunct Professor of Sacred Music and University Organist at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

 

Adam Brock gained international recognition when he became a Semi-Finalist on American Idol Season 11, achieving a spot in the top 12 Male singers out of the hundreds of thousands that auditioned for the prestigious show.
Born & raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA, Adam then attended Messiah College in Harrisburg, PA obtaining B.A. Theatre with an emphasis in Acting, Directing, & Design in Costume & Set. A man of many talents, Brock also graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and has been a mural painter.As a musician, Adam started singing in church, where he discovered his love of using his God-given gift to bless others. Through a series of musical twists & turns, Adam found his love for what he affectionately calls "Blue Music." Pulling from Gospel, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Swing, Funk & Soul, Adam has created a sound that is unique & recognizably his.
Adam has been the Worship Pastor at Central Assembly of God in Houston, PA since 2009. Now, you might find him at home with his wife cooking & gardening or on the sidelines of a soccer field cheering for his kids. 

Residing in Pittsburgh, Percussionist Camilo Jauregui plays an important role in various musical groups and ensembles throughout the Pennsylvania area. He serves as the Kiltie Band Percussion Instructor at Carnegie Mellon University, Percussion Teacher at Waynesburg University, and Percussion Instructor at South Fayette High School. Mr. Jauregui's diverse background as a percussionist, composer, and conductor takes him worldwide, allowing him to share and acquire knowledge of world music, with a particular focus on the impact of music education in postwar zones. He is the co-founder and co-director of Camerata 33, establishing the first and only Latin-American Chamber Orchestra in the Pittsburgh area. His artistic residencies include notable collaborations with the National Ballet of Cuba and many professional orchestras in Colombia. With prior teaching experience at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music in Kabul, The Music Project in Sri Lanka, “Tocar y Luchar” in Bogota, Colombia Mr. Jauregui has enriched his pedagogical experiences. Mr. Jauregui holds a master’s degree in music from Corpas University, complemented by bachelor’s degrees in Percussion Performance and Conducting. His creative output includes numerous compositions for percussion, string, and wind ensembles, as well as solo pieces. Notably, his series of small pieces, "Music in a Social Distance for not conventional instruments” and "Retazos for Solo Instruments," have been frequently performed in various countries.

Juanita Leal, Soprano, graduated from the Musical Studies program with an emphasis in Voice Performance from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. As a part of vocal groups and choirs such as Sociedad Coral Santa Cecilia, Coro de la Ópera de Colombia, and the choir of the undergraduate program at Javeriana, she has had experience singing in many instances, such as the opera productions Otello by Giuseppe Verdi (musical direction by Hilary Griffiths, stage direction by Willy Decker); Carmina Burana by Carl Orff and Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini among others. With the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana choir, she had the opportunity of singing with the rock band The Rolling Stones and was the chosen soloist for the recently composed Salmo por las víctimas de la Violencia by Johann Hassler. Her soloist career includes performing in the opera music festival in Bogotá “Ópera al Parque” held in years 2015, 2016, and 2017, and has participated as a chorist in other classical music festivals such as “Bogotá is Mozart” and “Bogotá is Schumann, Schubert, and Brahms”. In 2022 her operatic debut was in the role of Monica in the opera The Medium by Gian Carlo Menotti. Her teaching career started in 2013, and her passion for teaching voice led her to be the founder of her voice studio: the Vox Lab, voice studio. Currently, she is enrolled in the master’s degree program in Voice Performance at Duquesne University with Dr. Meghan DeWald.

Dr. Alyssa Schwartz comes from Jamestown, New York and is the Director of Bands and Professor of Flute at Fairmont State University, Director of the Morgantown Community Orchestra, Development Coordinator for Black Diamond Philharmonic, and Senior Instructor of Flute and Piano through West Virginia University's Community Music Program. Previously, she has served as Contributing Faculty in Flute at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and as a Lecturer of Music Theory and Music Education at West Virginia University.  She debuted at New York City's Carnegie Hall in November 2017 and returned for a second performance the same month as a result of winning 1st prize in the 2017 Golden Classical Music International Competition and 2nd Prize in the 2017 Concert Artists International Music Competition. As a recording artist, Alyssa has released two albums with her flute quartet, BETA, and received her first multiple-CD recording grant from Polyphony Arts Management in 2020.
